Rachel Shelley, who is very British, has only really recently came into her own as a bona fide talent, having spent her time in the ditches with all the has-beens and never-will-bes. Just watch the credits from her first bit-part flick, Royce, and you will understand. It wasn’t until Everybody Loves Sunshine that she really had the room to expand as an actress, and expand she has. She can currently be seen in The Calling and Lagaan, the latter of which apparently centers on a game of cricket with the future of a Colonial Indian village at stake. Oh no! Who ever will win?
Rachel Shelley did have to spend some time in the pits to get to where she is today. Thankfully, that means a nice nudie scene, via the so-so Photographing Fairies, which I thought was a movie about Andy Warhol. It wasn’t (Thank Allah) but was instead about a forlorn war photographer that misses his dead bride to be, and finds some kids that supposedly took pictures of fairies, and I don’t mean the Soho district kind. Rachel bares her breasts in a well-lit, time-consuming scene, so this one is worth checking out.
