The Stephen King mini-series Storm of the Century caused a shower in our shorts, since it provided our first look at Julianne Nicholson. This former model had managed a few screen roles, but Storm was a breakout role that, well, didn’t break out much besides our zippers. Julianne’s had a slow climb to stardom. She’s been talented and ravishing in failed TV series such as The Others and Presidio Med, but Julianne wouldn’t really became a rising star until 2004. She got top billing in Seeing Other People as a nervous fiancee looking for an open relationship. The romantic comedy Little Black Book brought her to the multiplexes alongside Brittany Murphy. Then Kinsey finally gave Julianne a role worthy of her charms, as she got sexy in the fairly unsexy tale of legendary sex researcher Alfred Kinsey.
